A Journey of Change and Growth

1999

The launch of general educational programs based at the Kravtsiv Synagogue.

2000

The JCC Mazal Tov was established. The first family Shabbaton and summer camp were held. With the support of JDC, children’s, teen, youth, and family clubs were created.

2004

With the support of World Jewish Relief, the center relocated to the Max Grant House. The Jewish Family Service (JFS) was established.

2003-2011

Expansion of activities and organization of large-scale family camps for more than 300 participants.

2008

The volunteer movement “Do Good, Ukraine” was launched.

The first children’s summer camp was organized.

2012

The “Equal Opportunities” Club was launched for people with disabilities, including wheelchair users and people with different health conditions.

2014

Support was provided to internally displaced persons from Donetsk and Luhansk regions. For six months, accommodation costs were covered at Pektoral, alongside the implementation of community support programs.

2022

The Or Shalom Psychological Center and a Humanitarian Response Hub were established. The organization carried out evacuations, supported housing recovery after shelling, and provided humanitarian assistance. All program areas continued to operate despite wartime conditions.

A space for growth and joy

A space for growth and joy for teenagers aged 13–18 and young adults 18+. A place for communication, self-expression, and new opportunities for those who want to grow, create, and be part of an active community.
Family Club "Steitl"
A space for middle-aged adults, offering thematic meetings, celebrations, off-site programs, and workshops.
“Equal Opportunities” Club
A club for people with disabilities, limited mobility, and wheelchair users, creating conditions for creative, social, and cultural development.
JFS (Jewish Family Service)
A comprehensive support program for Jewish families facing difficult life circumstances.
“Or Shalom” Psychological Support Center
JewsCool
A program addressing learning losses among children through online and offline classes with teachers and mentors.
